Oliver is a 10 year old handsome red Pembroke. Unfortunately Oliver has quirks that make his options for adoption limited. Oliver barks pretty much endlessly so he will not be able to go to an apartment or condo home, and will need a family who understands this is anxiety, not bad behavior. Oliver is also snarky with other dogs, which again limits his options. Oliver has been in foster care for a month where he has learned to be around other dogs. He has had acupuncture treatments for his anxiety and takes Shen Calmer, a Chinese herb for anxiety. Although greatly improved, Oliver shows great stress reactions when left, and anxious behaviors upon return. Oliver has taken a shine to his foster dad and finds comfort and security in his presence.
